Curriculum

Education starts at an early age, the sooner the better.

We begin as early as 1 with structure and discipline.  Each classroom, beginning with our little ones has an hourly schedule and a weekly lesson plan.  Lesson plans include activities to improve both gross and fine motor skills, food and nutrition, science, math, music, and movement.

Children learn by emulating what they see.  We strive to keep a happy and positive environment while learning and growing together.

By keeping a schedule, children learn structure and discipline.  We keep children busy with school work and activities so that they don't have time to misbehave.  This sets the tone throughout their schooling.

DLM Early Childhood Express

For our VPK classrooms, we utilize the very well-known and reputable program of DLM Early Childhood Express.

The DLM Early Childhood Express offers a comprehensive Pre-K child-centered curriculum with strong teacher support and 21st-century technology.

The curriculum links connections in literacy, math, science, social studies, fine arts, health and safety, personal development, physical development, and technology.

Each week is focused on a primary “theme” that is intended to build and nurture the learning environment with selected and sequenced learning experiences. It provides a wealth of materials and ideas to foster the social-emotional, intellectual, and physical development of children.

For more information, please see the following brochure that further details the program.

Mother Goose Time

Mother Goose Time is the curriculum that we utilize for both our three and four-year-old classrooms.

This program is a research-based approach to learning and applies child development theories and brain research to a unique model of teacher support, child experience, and family engagement.

Each month focuses on a primary educational theme.  The curriculum is mailed to us monthly and includes various supplements such as arts/crafts, writing journals, CDs and books that are all related to the monthly theme.

Frog Street Toddler is utilized for both our one and two-year-old classrooms.

This year-round program is designed around the latest scientific early brain development research and focuses on enhancing the simple joy of childhood while equipping caregivers to nurture curiosity through exploration.

Activity choices are organized around five developmental domains, offer differentiated instruction options to meet the needs of all learners and are designed to be flexible with intention and purpose of moving children forward in their development.
